SUMMER....HOT....SUNSHINE.....and of course SALADS....
Yes, my friends the fresh fruit and veggies season officially started and I am loving every minute of it.
It’s time....finally... to introduce
It's time to turn crispy Iceberg lettuce into WEDGE SALAD.....
I am not talking about ordinary salads....I am talking about 5 STAR fancy restaurant salads made in a comfort of your own home and on a budget.
Here comes..... Blue Cheese Wedge Salad.
PRINTABLE VERSION
This recipe serves 4.
Ingredients:
- 1 Iceberg Lettuce
- 2 Hard Boiled Eggs (chopped)
- 8 Tbsp Blue Cheese Dressing
- 2 Large Chicken Strips (chopped)
- 4 Red Radishes (sliced)
- ½ Fresh Avocado (chopped)
- Crumbled Blue Cheese
STEP 1: Get rid of the outside leaves from lettuce and slice the head of lettuce into quarters.
STEP 2: Place each quarter of lettuce onto serving plate.
STEP 3: Pour 2 tablespoons of Blue cheese dressing over the lettuce wedge.
STEP 4: Top the lettuce wedge with chopped boiled eggs, chopped chicken strips, sliced radishes and chopped avocado.
STEP 5: Sprinkle with crumbled Blue cheese
VOILA…..you have fancy restaurant salad……ENJOY

Thank you for inviting me to your link party! And I'm soo happy I've discovered your blog - I live in the Czech Republic which is sooo close to Slovakia and our national dishes are almost the same :) I love Smažený sýr or Halušky etc. :))
